We take a look at the part of the Sermon on the Mount that is referred to as "The Beatitudes." It's found in Matthew 5:1-12. The word, beatitude, is defined as supreme blessedness or exalted happiness. Indeed, while most translations render it "Blessed are", at least one says, "Happy are." Nevertheless, we can trust the Word of God!
