About Rick Boyne:
I was born and raised in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, and came to know Jesus as an eight‑year‑old boy. Although I grew up in church, my walk with the Lord deepened during my years with the Baptist Student Union at the University of Oklahoma.
After earning my Psychology degree from OU, I served in ministry in Los Angeles before being appointed as a Journeyman with the Foreign Mission Board in Hong Kong. There I worked with Hong Kong Baptist Press and Hong Kong Baptist College and helped plant New Hope Baptist Church in Kowloon.
I returned to Oklahoma in 1991, began work as a social worker, and married Sally in 1992. God later called us into full‑time missions, leading us to West Africa, Thailand, and Hong Kong through the International Mission Board. We returned to the U.S. in 2007, sensing God’s clear direction to continue serving Him stateside.
Sally and I have two wonderful daughters and sons-in-law, and are very happy being Poppy and Gigi to our two grandchildren. I enjoy writing and have published three faith-based novels.
