Bits & Bytes

Posted by Rick on May 12, 2008

Here are some “sound bites” from yesterday morning’s Mother’s Day sermon, “The Morals of Motherhood”.

  • There is no such thing as a perfect mother.
  • We should cut mothers a break for not being perfect.
  • Solomon cared about the women because God cared about the women.
  • God loved the women and their child, so He gave Solomon wisdom to know how to deal with this problem.
  • God loves mothers today and will give them wisdom to know who to deal with problems.
  • If you had a less than perfect mother and still resent her, now is the time to forgive.
  • If you are/were a less than perfect mother, it isn’t too late to “make things right” with your children.
  • A godly mother helps her children to understand the sacrifice that God made for all of us.
