Updated Abbott Prayer Requests
Posted by Rick on April 16, 2009
We received the following prayer request from the Abbotts this morning:
Thanks to all of you who have been faithfully praying for Bryan’s helicopter licensure situation. Our representatives will be meeting with the government and FAA regarding this matter TOMORROW, so please pray for favor and results.
Also, Bryan is currently in Central Sulawesi looking for a house and attending meetings with our future co-workers. Please be praying for wisdom while he looks and discusses future goals for the field.
Lastly, the weather is changing, finally bringing an end to a very long rainy season – Praise the Lord. However, with this change, many people are sick, including us. Please especially be praying for Mikayla. On her 2nd ear infection in the last month, she is having a hard time fighting this off. Having discussed with a local doctor the possible need for tubes, I am not comfortable having this procedure done where we live and would like to avoid this operation completely if at all possible. Anything is possible with God, so we trust our Great Physician to completely heal her.
Thanks again to each of you faithful prayer warriors. It is a blessing to have people like you holding our ropes!
