This past Sunday, Emily Bartell followed Christ in Believer’s Baptism, proclaiming to all that she has Jesus in her heart! Her grandfather, Ted Bartell had the honor and privilege to conduct the ceremony. What a joyous time!

Sunday’s Coming!
Join us for a very special service Sunday morning, as we baptize Emily Bartell, who made a profession of faith last Sunday morning. Her grandfather, Ted, will have the privilege of conducting the ceremony.
We’ll finish up our four part series of “God is Closer Than You Think” with “When You Blow It Big-Time”, based on Psalm 51. Sunday evening, we’ll look at the second installment of “One Chapter Wonders” with the Book of Philemon. After the evening service, we’ll enjoy a fellowship together so be sure to bring some snacks or finger foods.
Next week, I’ll be out of the office on Monday and Tuesday as I attend the State Evangelism Conference at FBC, Moore. I should return around noon on Wednesday.

Sunday’s Coming!
Truth or Consequences. Join us this Sunday as we look at I John 2:18-27 as we learn that we must ground ourselves in the Truth or face the consequences! In the evening, we’ll look at the 7th Commandment: Be faithful to your spouse.
We are also planning a baptism service for Cassie Bartell, who was saved in our church two Sundays ago. Her grandfather, Ted, will have the honor to baptize her. I am sure we will all want to be there to support her.
Be sure to invite someone to come to Sunday School with you!

Sunday’s Coming!
The topic of next Sunday’s sermon is “Don’t Love the World”, based on I John 2: 15-17. This next Sunday is going to be a great day! We’ll start off with a baptism and finish with the Lord’s Supper! I know you won’t want to miss.
Sunday evening, I’ll be preaching on the Fifth Commandment, “Don’t Murder”, Exodus 20:13.
We’ll also have our regular quarterly business meeting next Wednesday night.
Also, I wanted to give you an update on our Edna McMillan offering for Oklahoma Missions. We are now up to $300! 3/5ths of our goal. Thank you to all who have given to missions right here in Oklahoma.
Now, go out and invite someone to come to Sunday School and church with you!
