ISBC Members in Veterans Day Parade
Two ISBC members participated in the 2010 Wagoner Veterans Day Parade; one being honored as a vet, the other honoring the vets by playing in the band.
Gerald Smith is in the center looking towards the camera.
Gerald Smith, a deacon and Sunday School teacher at ISBC, served the United States Army during World War II in North Africa and Italy. He shares many stories from his service.
Audrey Boyne is in the back row playing the cymbals.
Audrey Boyne is a freshman and plays in the ISBC praise band, The Remnant, and is involved in Sunday School and in the youth group.

Visitor Parking

Today, Bro Elzie began working on establishing our long over-due designated visitor parking spots! We are excited to be able to offer ISBC guests the best parking spots in the lot!

Roof Work Begins
Work has already begun on replacing the roof on the education wing of the church building. The new shingles were delivered this morning. Tear off will begin at daybreak on Monday morning.
Bro Willie has been working hard replacing the facing on much of the building and expects to be finished by tomorrow morning.
The church still needs approximately $1100 to bridge the gap between what the insurance company will pay and what the new roof will cost. If you are interested in assisting with this fund, please contact the church as soon as possible or simply mark your envelopes “Roof Fund” and place it in the offering this Sunday.
The work is being completed by Just In Time Roofing Company.

Native American Work to Close
After nearly a year of its existence, it has been decided to close the Native Fellowship Baptist Church. The final service will be Thursday, August 26, 2010.
We hope to establish a different Native American Baptist Church in Wagoner in the future. Please pray to that end.
We wish to thank everyone who has faithfully supported this effort, especially Rev Wade Robertson.
