Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday Morning’s sermon, “Read the Signs” based on Matthew 24:1-14:
- As we can look up in the sky and know that a storm is coming, so can we “read” the signs that Jesus will return.
- Jesus provides at least six signs to tell us of his return:
- False Christs
- Wars and rumors of wars
- Famines and earthquakes
- Christians hated by all nations
- False prophets
- People’s love will grow cold because of lawlessness
- Jesus tells us to “not be frightened”
- Instead, we should be very encouraged, for the signs are there that He will be returning soon.
- Are you ready for His return?
