Cookie Ministry Takes Christmas Bags to Prisoners
Posted by Rick on December 21, 2011
The ISBC Cookie Ministry takes bags of cookies to prisoners at the Wagoner County Detention Center each month. This month, the prisoners will receive a little extra for Christmas.
The ladies made homemade cookies (oatmeal, lemon, and others) and included Christmas candy and candy canes all in decorative Christmas bags. Each bag was tied with a ribbon and included a Gospel tract.
We have been contacted by several prisoners, in the past, thanking the ladies for their gift of kindness to remember them in their imprisonment. We’ve also received several letters from the tract company notifying us of people who have been saved!
