You are cordially invited to HOMECOMING 2012, on June 24, 2012! It’s been 10 years since our last Homecoming and we have much to celebrate!
We have a fun filled day planned with singing, preaching, special music, and, of course, dinner on the grounds! It all begins at 10:00 a.m. We will not have Sunday School that morning.
2012 marks the 60th anniversary of ISBC and we hope you will join with us as we worship the Lord and thank Him for His rich blessings!
We want to make sure we prepare for your attendance. Would you mind taking a moment and sending an email to let us know you’re coming? We’d like to hear from you even if you aren’t able to attend. If you are coming, please click this link to send an email that includes your name, current mailing address & phone number, and number attending lunch. Please let us know by June 8th.
After lunch, we’ll have an opportunity for people to sing songs, give testimonies, and share stories. Bring an accompaniment tape or CD if you’d like to sing a song.

Falls Creek Fundraiser Sunday

This Sunday, the youth will host an “all you can eat” roast beef dinner with all the trimmings for $5.00 as a fundraiser for Falls Creek youth camp, which will be June 6-11. The meal will be immediately following the morning service. While $5 is the donation, you don’t have to be limited to that amount. Let generosity be your guide!
The cost of Falls Creek is $85 per kid and they are trying to raise enough to allow all the kids to be able to afford to go to camp. The cost includes all meals, transportation, cabin rental, and even a T-shirt!
The youth will also be presenting a special “human video” or, a wordless skit put to music in the morning worship service. They’ve been working hard on it for many weeks and are excited to be able to present it to the church to the glory of God. We’ve removed most everything from the front of the stage for this presentation. I’m sure you’ll want to express your appreciation to the youth and the youth leaders for all their hard work.
Be sure to invite someone to Sunday School this week!

FAITH Riders Commissioning Service

The Commissioning Service for the ISBC Chapter of F.A.I.T.H Riders will be Sunday, April 17, 2011 at 6 pm at Immanuel Southern Baptist Church, 611 N. Gertrude, Wagoner, OK.
There will be a BBQ supper following the service hosted by the new chapter.
Special motorcycle parking will be reserved along the East side of the facility, along Gertrude Ave.

Farewell Reception for Boyd Family

ISBC had a farewall reception for Tony and Lori Boyd before they move to Columbia, MO in about 10 days.
We wish them God’s blessings as they begin a new life and new ministry in Missiouri!

Fifth Sunday Sing Rescheduled

Fellowship Breakfast Canceled

The monthly fellowship breakfast has been canceled for tomorrow due to the extreme cold weather.
We will baptize four people on Sunday morning, however, so be sure to come and support them!

Christmas Services

Invite your family, friends, and neighbors! This Sunday, the ISBC Choir will present “His Very Own Star” a Christmas cantata, in the morning service. At about noon, we’ll meet together in the Fellowship Hall for our Annual Christmas Dinner.
Sunday evening, we’ll gather for our annual Christmas Carol Sing. There are still lots of spaces to sign up.
Wednesday, we’ll celebrate the Lord’s Supper together at 7 pm and light the final Advent Candle.
As you go through this Christmas Season, don’t forget to tell others about the Reason we celebrate Christmas!
