Bits & Bytes

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday’s sermon, “Numbered, Weighed, and Divided” based on Daniel 5:

  • King Belshazzar did not learn from his father’s mistakes.
  • The king offended God by using sacred objects for show.
  • No one could read God’s hand-writing on the wall.
  • Daniel interpreted for the the King and God’s word came true that very night.
  • Many people still do not understand what God says.
  • We will be weighed by God’s standard, not by our own.
  • The Bible says that when we are weighed, like King Belshazzar, we will come up short.
  • The good news is that Jesus died for us, taking our punishment on Himself.
