Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “The World Knows Your Name” based on I John 2:15-17:
- The world DOES NOT have your best interest in mind
- The world wants to see you succeed according to its standard
- The world wants to see you fail according to God’s standard
- You cannot serve both God and the world

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday’s sermon, “Numbered, Weighed, and Divided” based on Daniel 5:
- King Belshazzar did not learn from his father’s mistakes.
- The king offended God by using sacred objects for show.
- No one could read God’s hand-writing on the wall.
- Daniel interpreted for the the King and God’s word came true that very night.
- Many people still do not understand what God says.
- We will be weighed by God’s standard, not by our own.
- The Bible says that when we are weighed, like King Belshazzar, we will come up short.
- The good news is that Jesus died for us, taking our punishment on Himself.
