Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s sermon, “Borrowing Worry” based on Matthew 6:25-34)
- Jesus said, “Do not worry”. That is a command.
- We worry when we take our eyes off of God and keep them on our troubles.
- God knows what we need. That might be different than what we want.
- It isn’t about you. It is about God.
- Worry is the interest we pay when we borrow from tomorrow’s problems.
