As you know a devastating earthquake hit the island nation of Haiti.  Efforts are currently underway by the Baptist Disaster Relief to supply assistance and needed supplies to the local populace.  I have been asked by Dr. Anthony Jordan, the Executive Director of the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma to provide church members information in order to make a donation to this effort.  You can mail your checks directly to them at:

Be on your guard for scam artists who may contact you via email saying they are a victim of the earthquake or that they have family there, or they are with a charity.  Only give money to those whom you know and trust.
