Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “Christ, Our Example: Prayer” based on Matthew 6:9-13:
- Jesus gave us the “model prayer” as a framework onto which we can personalize our requests
- The Lord’s Prayer wasn’t meant to be a repeated prayer that had no meaning from the pray-er
- God is due all glory and honor and praise
- We must pray for God’s will
- We must pray for the lost

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday Morning’s sermon, “The Wretchedness of Sin” based on II Samuel 12:1-13:
- Many people go to church to only get “a blessing”.
- People do not recognize the severity and wretchedness of their own sin.
- People ignore sin.
- People don’t want to talk about sin or its consequences.
- God will repay people for their sin; that repayment is death.
- The only way out of this predicament is to go to Jesus for deliverance.
