Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “Christ, Our Example: Prayer” based on Matthew 6:9-13:
- Jesus gave us the “model prayer” as a framework onto which we can personalize our requests
- The Lord’s Prayer wasn’t meant to be a repeated prayer that had no meaning from the pray-er
- God is due all glory and honor and praise
- We must pray for God’s will
- We must pray for the lost

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “The Christian Life: Prayer” based on Matthew 6:5-13. It is the first of a four part series on the Essentials of the Christian Life:
- We are privileged to call God “Father”
- We should worship and adore God in our prayers.
- We should pray for our needs and for God’s guidance.
- We should praise the Lord and thank Him for His blessings.
- We are privileged to approach God’s throne because of what Jesus has done for us.
- Those who have not believed on Jesus cannot call God “Father”.
