Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s sermon, “Thermostats & Thermometers” based on Matthew 5:13-16:
- A thermometer simply reflects the environment.
- A thermostat changes its environment.
- Jesus called us to be thermostats, not thermometers.
- We are to be salt; flavoring life with Jesus.
- We are to be light; shining to glorify God.

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s sermon, “Can I Lose My Salvation?” based on John 10:7-11, 27-29,
- God has promised eternal life; He placed no conditions on it.
- God promised that nothing can snatch us out of His hands.
- God has placed us in Jesus Christ.
- Jesus Christ will never leave the Father.
- “Religious experience” does not equal salvation.
- The answer to the question is “NO! Not if you are truly saved in the first place!”
