Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message “Even More Implications of Grace” based on Romans 7:14-25:
- The power of grace is greater than the power of the law
- When we apply God’s grace to our own lives, we can be victorious over sin
- Often, Christians find more delight in their sin than in their Savior
- We must delight ourselves in the Lord!

- The Law doesn’t give life

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “Part-time Christians” based on Matthew 23:23-28
- Jesus condemns people who try to obey the smallest part of the law but ignore the import stuff.
- Jesus says the important stuff is justice (fairness), mercy/compassion, and faithfulness.
- We too often only “act” like Christians when it is convenient for us.
- We need to realize we have been bought with a price.

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’ s message, “I Surrender All” based on Galatians 2:16-21:
- When Jesus saves us, He automatically claims ownership of us.
- Sometimes we don’t recognize that, or forget that.
- When we try to do things on our own, we mess them up.
- We must rely on God to take control of every part of our lives.

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “The Christian Life: Stewardship” based on Mark 12:41-44:
- Tithing is a command of the law of the Old Covenant.
- There is no way Christians can biblically tithe today.
- What we call tithing today is merely giving 10%.
- God does not call us to tithe.
- He calls us to give sacrificially.
- He calls us to give faithfully.
- He calls us to trust Him to meet our needs.
- To require someone to tithe is nothing more than modern-day pharisee-ism and legalism.

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “How to Be Saved” based on Romans 10:1-13:
- We can’t “do” anything; God has done it all through Jesus.
- We are saved by grace, through faith. Nothing else.
- Believe on Jesus.
- Confess Jesus as Lord.
- Baptism and repentance come BECAUSE of our faith in Jesus; not as a vehicle of grace.

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “Attention Getting Disorder” based on Matthew 6:1-18
- What is our motivation for our good works?
- If we try to get the approval of people, we don’t aim high enough.
- We should let our good works shine as to glorify our Father in Heaven.
- Don’t “not do” something because someone might see you do it.
- Work as unto the Lord!
