Bits & Bytes

Here are some “sound bites” from yesterday morning’s sermon, “The Cost of Sacrifice” based on II Samuel 24:

  • Innocent people can suffer the consequences of your sin.
  • Your sin requires payment from God.
  • David couldn’t use the gift of someone to make his burnt offering; he had to pay it himself.
  • We are blessed because Jesus has paid the sacrifice for our sin, if we only accept Him.
  • Any sacrifice we make will not be good enough for God.  Jesus made (and was) the perfect sacrifice.

Updated Prayer Requests for Abbotts

We have updated the prayer requests for Bryan and Melissa Abbott who will leave on July 24th for Indonesia.  You can see their updated requests here.  Be sure to lift them before the Lord as they get ready for their lives to change!
