Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “Mediocre Expectations” based on Acts 3:1-10:
Most of us don’t believe God will work in our lives or the lives of others.
Most of us don’t believe God will use our church for His Kingdom purposes.
Most of us don’t want God to bless us like He wants to bless us.
Most of us are content to live lives of mediocrity.

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “Know Your Bible” based on Acts 17:10-12:
We must know what is and isn’t in God’s word as to not be deceived.
We must be ready to give a defense of our beliefs
We must hunger for God’s word
We must not take a Scripture verse out of context to prove our point.

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s sermon, “Splinters and Logs” based on Matthew 7:1-5:
Most of us aren’t able to judge others fairly.
We must exercise mercy when dealing with others.
Many use judgment of others to control or condemn.
Some use judgement of others to make themselves feel better.
Leave the judging to God.

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message “Even More Implications of Grace ” based on Romans 7:14-25:
The power of grace is greater than the power of the law
When we apply God’s grace to our own lives, we can be victorious over sin
Often, Christians find more delight in their sin than in their Savior
We must delight ourselves in the Lord!

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “Some Implications of Grace” based on Galatians 3:1-5:
The Law doesn’t save you
The Law doesn’t perfect you
The Law doesn’t give life
The Law shows us our sin
We are saved by grace
Grace should dominate our lives, not the law

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’ s message, “I Surrender All” based on Galatians 2:16-21:
When Jesus saves us, He automatically claims ownership of us.
Sometimes we don’t recognize that, or forget that.
When we try to do things on our own, we mess them up.
We must rely on God to take control of every part of our lives.

Here are some “Sound Bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “Righteous for the Unrighteous” based on Matthew 27:15-26:
Pilate knew Jesus was innocent.
Pilate thought he could persuade the crowd to release Jesus instead of the murderer Barabbas.
The priests and elders convinced the people to ask for Barabbas.
This surprised Pilate and did as they asked to avoid a riot.
Jesus was innocent and suffered punishment.
Barabbas was guilty and set free.
We are like Barabbas.

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s sermon, “Christmas Lights” based on Matthew 2:1-2,10-12):
The Star of Bethlehem led the Magi to Jesus.
It allowed them to worship Jesus.
It allowed them to present their gifts, but leave with the wealth of the knowledge of the newborn king.
It allowed them to have wisdom from God, inasmuch as they obeyed His command in a dream.
Jesus told us that we are the light of the world.
Like the Christmas Star, we are to lead others to Jesus, so that they, too, might worship Him.

Here are some “sound bites” from yesterday morning’s sermon, “The Cost of Sacrifice” based on II Samuel 24:
Innocent people can suffer the consequences of your sin.
Your sin requires payment from God.
David couldn’t use the gift of someone to make his burnt offering; he had to pay it himself.
We are blessed because Jesus has paid the sacrifice for our sin, if we only accept Him.
Any sacrifice we make will not be good enough for God. Jesus made (and was) the perfect sacrifice.
