Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “Do-Nothing Christians” based on James 1:22-25:
- Jesus didn’t die on the cross for you to sit comfortably in a church for an hour each week.
- Hearing is the function of perceiving sound.
- Listening is being changed by what we hear.
- Doing it is putting feet or hands to what we listened to.
- Prove your faith.

Here are some “sound bites” from the pastor’s Anniversary Sermon “Parts Is Parts” based on I Corinthians 12:14-26:
- We are all part of the Body of Christ
- Many times we want to be an inconspicuous part.
- Until further notice assume that you are an arm, a foot, a hand or a mouth.
- God didn’t call us to warm pews.
