Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “Mediocre Expectations” based on Acts 3:1-10:
Most of us don’t believe God will work in our lives or the lives of others.
Most of us don’t believe God will use our church for His Kingdom purposes.
Most of us don’t want God to bless us like He wants to bless us.
Most of us are content to live lives of mediocrity.

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “The Commandment of Christ” based on Matthew 28:18-20:
Jesus expects His followers to tell others about His good news.
Jesus left us with instructions to follow and expects them to be done when He gets back.
As we go about our regular lives, we should be faithful to tell others.
We shouldn’t wait until we go somewhere special to start telling others about Jesus.
Baptism is an important part of following Jesus.

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “Do-Nothing Christians” based on James 1:22-25:
Jesus didn’t die on the cross for you to sit comfortably in a church for an hour each week.
Hearing is the function of perceiving sound.
Listening is being changed by what we hear.
Doing it is putting feet or hands to what we listened to.
Prove your faith.

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “Silent Night, Holy Night” based on 2 Corinthians 8:9 for the second Sunday of Advent:
It was a huge sacrifice for Jesus to come to Earth.
It was a sacrifice for all who would believe.
It was a willing sacrifice.
We should bow before Jesus as Lord now willingly, before we will be forced to after we die.

Here are some “sound bites” from yesterday morning’s sermon, “Sound the Alarm” based on Ezekiel 33:1-11:
If we share the Gospel and someone doesn’t believe, then their blood is on their hands.
If we share the Gospel and they believe, then they are saved.
If we fail to share the Gospel, they will die in their sins and their blood will be on our hands.
We are commanded to share the Gospel.
God has given us the authority to tell people to repent and believe the Gospel.
We must be faithful to the task.

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s sermon, “God’s Bail-Out Plan” based on Acts 4:8-12:
The economy is in crisis. We got that way by the irresponsible actions of many.
The government has tried/is trying multiple “bailout plans” to rescue the economy.
Two of the bailout plans seem to have failed. The third may not do much either.
Our spiritual condition is in crisis. We got that we because we sin.
We have tried multiple ways to get ourselves out of this mess, but nothing seems to work.
God decided that HE would take charge of the situation and bail us out.
God became Flesh and dwelt among us as Jesus Christ.
Jesus died for us on the cross, taking our punishment upon Him.
If we accept His act on our behalf, we are “bailed out” of our sin debt.
If we do not accept Jesus’ act on the cross, we must face the full wrath of God.
