  • Bits & Bytes

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “The Mind of Christ” based on I Corinthians 2:14-16:

    • The presence of the Holy Spirit in the believer is evidence of salvation.
    • The Holy Spirit gives understanding to the mysteries of God.
    • Unsaved people cannot understand the mysteries of God.
    • Carnal Christians MAY not understand the mysteries of God if their lives are filled with unconfessed sin.

  • Fall Revival Sept 19-22

Plans have been finalized for our Fall Revival.  Evangelist Bobby Smith will conduct a series of sermons on “Israel’s Role in End Times Prophesy”.

The revival starts Sunday morning Sept 19 at 10:50.  We’ll have a church-wide potluck to follow.

The revival continues Sunday through Wednesday evenings starting at 7 pm.

Bro Bobby has made 25 trips to the Holy Land and now leads tours as well.  He will be presenting images of modern Israel and relating them to Scripture.

He and his wife, Jeanette, will provide the music for the revival as well.

Everyone is invited and encouraged to invite your family, friends, and neighbors.

You can download the Revival Flyer to print at home here:  Revival Flyer 2010

  • Native American Work to Close

After nearly a year of its existence, it has been decided to close the Native Fellowship Baptist Church.  The final service will be Thursday, August 26, 2010.

We hope to establish a different Native American Baptist Church in Wagoner in the future.  Please pray to that end.

We wish to thank everyone who has faithfully supported this effort, especially Rev Wade Robertson.

  • Bits & Bytes

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “The Intolerant Gospel” based on Acts 4:11-12:

    • The Bible says that salvation is through Jesus alone.
    • This message is offensive to other religions.
    • If we truly believe that salvation is through Jesus only, how can we allow people of other religions to continue if their religions do not lead to God, but damnation?

  • Ten Christian workers killed in Afghanistan (via samshawonline)

Please read this blog post by Sam Shaw.

Ten Christian workers killed in Afghanistan In 2002, on a vision trip to Afghanistan, I met Dr. Tom Little, who died in the attack described below. He had worked in Afghanistan for over 30 years, establishing eye clinics and hospitals and treating eye problems. One of his students was former Afghan foreign minister Dr Abdullah Abdullah who said… "Dr Little traveled the length and breadth of Afghanistan, treating thousands and thousands of Afghans." 30 years of self-sacrificing humanitari … Read More

  • Bits & Bytes

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “Planning Ahead” based on Matthew 25:14-30:

    • God has given each of us resources to use for His kingdom.
    • We can use the resource.
    • We can waste the resource.
    • The choice is ours.
    • But we WILL BE accountable to God for what He has given us.
