- We must recognize when we are in a rut and call out to God for help.
- If we stay in our rut we are liable to rot.
- Take stock of what God has already given you.
- Make room for God’s blessing.
- A rut is just a grave with both ends knocked out.

Karen Rotert Voted In as Choir Director
Karen Rotert was voted in unanimously as the ISBC Interim Choir Director at the monthly business meeting tonight. She will begin conducting choir practice on September 19.
We are excited to have Karen with us! Please see Karen this Sunday if you are interested in joining the choir.

Roof Work Begins
Work has already begun on replacing the roof on the education wing of the church building. The new shingles were delivered this morning. Tear off will begin at daybreak on Monday morning.
Bro Willie has been working hard replacing the facing on much of the building and expects to be finished by tomorrow morning.
The church still needs approximately $1100 to bridge the gap between what the insurance company will pay and what the new roof will cost. If you are interested in assisting with this fund, please contact the church as soon as possible or simply mark your envelopes “Roof Fund” and place it in the offering this Sunday.
The work is being completed by Just In Time Roofing Company.

National Back to Church Sunday Sept 12
How long has it been since you’ve been to church? How many times have you told yourself that you need to be back in church? How many Sunday mornings come and go and you felt bad for not going to church?
Sunday, September 12, is National “Back to Church Sunday”. Think of it like the amnesty day at the library where you can return your overdue book without a penalty.
Except this is better.
Come back to church and re-discover God! You’ll be glad you did!
