Bobbi Hess has agreed to lead the Cookie Ministry of Immanuel Southern Baptist Church.
The Cookie Ministry provides cookies to the inmates of the Wagoner County Jail as a direct response to the words of Jesus that said, “I was in prison and you didn’t visit me.”
The Cookie Ministry provides a bag of cookies (and sometimes candy) along with a salvation tract. Over the past few years, several inmates have written to the church expressing their gratefulness at being remembered and to indicate they have put their faith in Jesus Christ for salvation.

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “The Christian Life: Evangelism” based 0n I Thessalonians 2:1-4:
- You don’t have to be a Billy Graham to share the gospel.
- The gospel is meant to be shared, not kept secret.
- God has entrusted the gospel to us to share with others.
- The gospel is true and can stand alone without gimmicks (like promises of health and wealth)
- We share the gospel because we love God and want to please Him.

Evangelist YoYo Collins will be in our church Sunday evening, July 18 at 6 pm.
Bro Collins was injured in a diving accident in 1977 which resulted in his being paralyzed from the collar bone down. He, with his wife, Sandi, have been in the ministry for over 30 years, preaching in 35 states. They make their home in Salina, OK.
Invite your neighbors, friends and family to this exciting time of testimony and praise!

Here are some “Sound Bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “A Matter of Obedience” based on Matthew 25:14-30:
- We must be willing and available to obey God.
- God expects a return on His investment of your soul.
- We better not show up empty handed.
- God expects that we be faithful to share with others after we are saved.
