    1. Loss of Appetite for God’s Word
    2. Loss of Desire for Prayer
    3. Loss of Desire to Assemble with the Saints
    4. Lack of Love or Concern for Others
    5. Lack of Involvement with Kingdom Work
    6. Lack of Regard for the Truth
    7. A Critical, Bitter Spirit

  • Bits & Bytes

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “Unbelieving Hearts” based on Hebrews 3:12-19:

    • Sin is deceitful.
    • We can become calloused to sin.
    • We must be cautious to not have a hardened heart.
    • We must encourage others to remain faithful.
    • If we are truly saved, we CANNOT lose our salvation.

  • VBS Off to a Great Start!

VBS began last night! We are excited to have 38 children in attendance our first night.

Most things went well; other things will need some “smoothing out” before the end of the week.

We’ll be giving away great door prizes this week, too! A boy’s and a girl’s bicycle, among other things!  Names will be drawn Sunday evening at our VBS Family Celebration.  (You must be present to win)

  • Bits & Bytes

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday mornings message, “Eternity Is a Long, Long Time” based on Luke 16:19-31:

    • Salvation and Damnation are both eternal
    • Once you die, there is no opportunity to “get right” with God
    • There are many, diverse views of eternity
    • You better make sure you have it right before you die
    • Jesus said He was the only way to God

  • Bits & Bytes

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “Comfortable Christianity” based on Revelation 3: 14-22:

    • The Church in the West has become like Laodicea
    • God has blessed us abundantly
    • Because of our blessing we fail to acknowledge our need for God
    • We are ignorant and apathetic to our own condition
    • Jesus says that we must be zealous and repent!
