Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “Grateful to Whom?” based on Psalm 103:1-5.
Many people have a need to express gratefulness, but don’t know who to express it to.
Express your gratefulness to God
Be thankful for the right reasons
Be thankful at the right time

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “Comfortable Christianity” based on Revelation 3: 14-22:
The Church in the West has become like Laodicea
God has blessed us abundantly
Because of our blessing we fail to acknowledge our need for God
We are ignorant and apathetic to our own condition
Jesus says that we must be zealous and repent!

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “Second Chances” based on John 21:15-19:
Our false pride usually leads to failure
Failure leads to feelings of inadequacy
Satan comes to us and tells us we are unusable because we failed.
God takes those failures and can turn them into successes
God lifts us up and puts us back in the fight.

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday mornings message, “The Full Armor of God” based on Ephesians 6:10-19. It was a special service for a national guardsman deploying to Afghanistan:
Each piece of the armor is essential.
You cannot leave any piece of the armor out.
It is a complete personal defensive and offensive system.
It is given to be used, not just looked at.
You must be spiritually fit in order to use it properly.

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “The Christian Life: Stewardship” based on Mark 12:41-44:
Tithing is a command of the law of the Old Covenant.
There is no way Christians can biblically tithe today.
What we call tithing today is merely giving 10%.
God does not call us to tithe.
He calls us to give sacrificially.
He calls us to give faithfully.
He calls us to trust Him to meet our needs.
To require someone to tithe is nothing more than modern-day pharisee-ism and legalism.

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “The Christian Life: Prayer” based on Matthew 6:5-13. It is the first of a four part series on the Essentials of the Christian Life:
We are privileged to call God “Father”
We should worship and adore God in our prayers.
We should pray for our needs and for God’s guidance.
We should praise the Lord and thank Him for His blessings.
We are privileged to approach God’s throne because of what Jesus has done for us.
Those who have not believed on Jesus cannot call God “Father”.

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s sermon, “Christmas Lights” based on Matthew 2:1-2,10-12):
The Star of Bethlehem led the Magi to Jesus.
It allowed them to worship Jesus.
It allowed them to present their gifts, but leave with the wealth of the knowledge of the newborn king.
It allowed them to have wisdom from God, inasmuch as they obeyed His command in a dream.
Jesus told us that we are the light of the world.
Like the Christmas Star, we are to lead others to Jesus, so that they, too, might worship Him.
