    Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “Christ, Our Example: Prayer” based on Matthew 6:9-13:

    • Jesus gave us the “model prayer” as a framework onto which we can personalize our requests
    • The Lord’s Prayer wasn’t meant to be a repeated prayer that had no meaning from the pray-er
    • God is due all glory and honor and praise
    • We must pray for God’s will
    • We must pray for the lost

    • He became a servant as He completed His work of redemption.

    This year there were 625 campers at the Muskogee Baptist Association’s week at Kiamichi Baptist Assembly near Talinhina, OK.  There were right at 100 professions of faith!

    • God desires everyone to be saved
    • God gave man free will to accept Jesus leading to salvation or reject Jesus leading to damnation
    • We were held hostage to death because of our sin

    • Everyone means EVERYONE.

    • If we believe that Jesus did that, God says we get to live.
