Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s sermon, “The Cross of Christ” based on I Corinthians 1:18-25:
- The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing.
- The message of the cross is the power of God to those who are being saved.
- The cross is a symbol of God’s great love for us.
- The cross is a reminder of the vileness of our sin.
- People try to make sense out of God’s plan, but it confounds them.
- Christianity isn’t really a religion; it is a relationship.

Here are some “sound bites” from this morning’s sermon, “God Bless America” based on 2 Chronicles 7:14-22:
- Our nation was founded on Christian principles,
- We have wandered away from God’s path and have chosen our own path.
- We have ceased to worship God and instead now worship ourselves.
- We must must humble ourselves.
- We must pray.
- We must seek God.
- We must repent of our evil ways.
May God continue to bless the United States of America!
