Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “Heaven” based on Revelation 21:1-27:
Heaven is a real place.
Heaven is being prepared for those who have their names written in the Book of Life.
We only have a glimpse of Heaven as conveyed by Apostle J0hn.
Our understanding of Heaven is not complete.
Jesus is there.

Here are some “sound bites” from last Sunday’s morning message, “Stop GOING to church (and start BEING the church) based on James 1:22-25:
The church is the building.
The church is the members.
We are the body of Christ.
When we meet, it isn’t “church” – it is the assembling of the church.
We must have this mindset if we are to live as God would like us to live.

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s sermon, “I Gotta Be Me (or: Satan’s Lie)” based on Colossians 3:1-17:
To say “this is how God made me; deal with it” is just an excuse to sin.

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s sermon, “Desperately Distant from God” based on Exodus 20:18-21:
Many people keep their distance from God.
Some keep their distance because they are afraid of God.
Some keep their distance because they prefer their sinful lifestyle.
God calls us to Him.

Here are some “sound bites” from this morning’s sermon, “God Bless America” based on 2 Chronicles 7:14-22:
Our nation was founded on Christian principles,
We have wandered away from God’s path and have chosen our own path.
We have ceased to worship God and instead now worship ourselves.
We must must humble ourselves.
We must pray.
We must seek God.
We must repent of our evil ways.
May God continue to bless the United States of America!

There has been a lot of TV and News stories this week about “Gay” marriages being legalized in California. There seems to be a new tolerance and even acceptance of homosexuality as a “normal” lifestyle choice in our society. Join us Sunday, as we take a look at what God has to say about this in Romans 1:18-32 as we look at “A Convenient Morality”.
Sunday evening, we’ll continue our study of Ephesians looking at chapter 2:11-22. I’m calling this sermon, “God’s Household”.
Be sure to invite someone to Sunday School!
