We have arranged to have the youth singers from White Oak Baptist Church (near Vinita) provide a mini-concert on the evening of Sunday, August 24th!
Led by Todd Jones, the youth group will provide at least 4 numbers with keyboard and guitar accompiment. The group will be singing at a special even in the afternoon and will bless us that evening with the mini-concert.
Due to the fact that it is on a school night, the group will have to leave shortly after church, but will be able to stay for a quick fellowship afterward.
Join us at Immanuel this Sunday as we take a look at Matthew 12:30-32 “The Unforgivable Sin”. It might not be what you think it is. Sunday evening, we continue our exploration of Ephesians with 4:17-24 “Lay Aside the Old Self”.
Sunday is Bro. Steve’s last Sunday with us as interim Minister of Music. Sunday evening, during our regular Fourth Sunday Finger Food Fellowship, you’ll have the opportunity to express your appreciation to him for his service to our church.
Be sure to invite someone to Sunday School this week!
Next week, we will celebrate the Fourth of July, America’s Independence Day. Sunday, we’ll take a look at 2 Chronicles 7:14-22 with the sermon title, “God Bless America”.
Sunday evening, we’ll have our Fifth Sunday Sing with a Finger Food Fellowship. It isn’t too late to sign up for a song, poem, or anything else that will glorify God.
Be sure to invite your friends and neighbors to Sunday School and to our Fifth Sunday Sing!
Zion, previously known as the Four Mile Trio will be in concert at Immanuel Southern Baptist Church on May 25th at 6 pm. There is no charge for the concert. We will have our regular Fourth Sunday Fellowship immediately following the concert. INVITE YOUR FRIENDS!
