We have a BIG SUNDAY planned for this Sunday, August 21st!
We’ll begin the worship service with the baptism of four people; Brian Tyler, Will Niffen, Abby Carson, and Makayla Hall! Come and be witnesses to their acts of obedience!
We’ll also celebrate the Lord’s Supper! It will be unlike any other Lord’s Supper we’ve celebrated at ISBC. I’m praying that it will be a great encouragement to you. Please be in sincere self-examination as you prepare spiritually to participate in the Supper of our Lord.
God is doing some great things at ISBC! Please continue to be in prayer for the church as we seek God’s will and strive to glorify Him in all we do!
Sunday School starts at 9:45. If you don’t currently attend a Sunday School class, please come this Sunday to check things out; I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised!
See ya Sunday!

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “Cafeteria Christianity” based on II Timothy 3:14-17:
- You can’t pick and choose what you are going to believe or obey based on what pleases you.
- All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable.
- Jesus said, “If you love me, obey My commandments.”
- Following Jesus isn’t easy.

After consulting with the Sunday School Director, Elzie Gray, it has been decided to cancel Sunday School in the morning, due to the road conditions. The youth are making their own arrangements to meet tomorrow. There will be NO children’s or adult Sunday School.
We will have our morning worship service at the regular time.
The driveway has been cleared, so you should be safe getting in and out of your car if you park in the main lot.
If you are able to get out and go to Wal-Mart, you should be able to make it to church just fine. Use your best judgment.

Join us this Sunday at Immanuel Southern when we take a look at “God’s Bail-Out Plan” based on Acts 4:8-12. If the government thinks that throwing a lot of money at the economy will fix our problems, imagine how much better God’s plan to fix our bad spiritual condition must be!
Sunday evening, we’ll take a look at how important it is to realize that the church must function 7 days a week in the lives of believers. The sermon, “The Church Has Left the Building” will help us see what we need to do!
Invite your family and friends to Sunday School! They’ll be glad you did!
