Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “The Promise of Resurrection” based on John 20:1-16:
- Jesus promised He would rise again.
- Since Jesus rose from the dead, we have the hope of eternal life.
- God gives us the Holy Spirit as a promise of redemption.
- Jesus promises us that He will one day return for us.

Here are some “Sound Bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “Righteous for the Unrighteous” based on Matthew 27:15-26:
- Pilate knew Jesus was innocent.
- Pilate thought he could persuade the crowd to release Jesus instead of the murderer Barabbas.
- The priests and elders convinced the people to ask for Barabbas.
- This surprised Pilate and did as they asked to avoid a riot.
- Jesus was innocent and suffered punishment.
- Barabbas was guilty and set free.
- We are like Barabbas.
