Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “A Supernatural Walk” based on Matthew 14:22-31:
- Peter could only walk on the water after Jesus called him to Himself
- When Peter took his eyes off Jesus, he began to sink
- We can only walk the holiness of the Christian life by the power of Jesus
- When we take our eyes off Jesus, we, too, begin to sink

- When Jesus saves us, He automatically claims ownership of us.
- Sometimes we don’t recognize that, or forget that.

Baptism and Lord’s Supper Planned for Sunday
We have a BIG SUNDAY planned for this Sunday, August 21st!
We’ll begin the worship service with the baptism of four people; Brian Tyler, Will Niffen, Abby Carson, and Makayla Hall! Come and be witnesses to their acts of obedience!
We’ll also celebrate the Lord’s Supper! It will be unlike any other Lord’s Supper we’ve celebrated at ISBC. I’m praying that it will be a great encouragement to you. Please be in sincere self-examination as you prepare spiritually to participate in the Supper of our Lord.
God is doing some great things at ISBC! Please continue to be in prayer for the church as we seek God’s will and strive to glorify Him in all we do!
Sunday School starts at 9:45. If you don’t currently attend a Sunday School class, please come this Sunday to check things out; I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised!
See ya Sunday!
