Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “Full Strength Love” based on I Peter 4:7-11:
- In the last days people will be self-centered and have a shallow love, diluted by the world and self interests.
- In the last days, Christians should be fervent in their love toward one another, undiluted by the world.
- We should set a good example for the world.
- Others will know that we are Jesus’ disciples by our love for one another.

- The church is the building.
- The church is the members.
- We are the body of Christ.
- When we meet, it isn’t “church” – it is the assembling of the church.
- We must have this mindset if we are to live as God would like us to live.

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “Rut, Rot or Revival” based on 2 Kings 4:1-7:
- We must recognize when we are in a rut and call out to God for help.
- If we stay in our rut we are liable to rot.
- Take stock of what God has already given you.
- Make room for God’s blessing.
- A rut is just a grave with both ends knocked out.

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “A Matter of Grace” based on Romans 5:18 – 6:4:
- We don’t deserve God’s grace.
- Because we all sinned, we deserve death.
- Jesus took the full wrath of God upon Him on the cross.
- If we believe/trust in Jesus for our salvation, we won’t face God’s wrath.
- If we reject Jesus, we will face the full brunt of God’s wrath at judgement.

- To say “this is how God made me; deal with it” is just an excuse to sin.
- The Bible calls us to lay aside our sin habits by dying in Christ.
- The Bible calls us to put on our new self by living in Christ.
- Jesus calls us to repentance.

Here are some “Sound Bites” from yesterday morning’s sermon, “A Convenient Morality” based on Romans 1:18-32:
- We alter God’s word to make it convenient for us and to excuse our sins.
- When people suppress God’s truth, there are consequences.
- When people quit honoring God and start serving themselves, there are consequences.
- The consequences include God giving them over to the lust of their hearts.
- The consequences include God giving them over to degrading passions.
- The consequences include God giving them over to a depraved mind.
- The solution is to return to God.
- Don’t get too judgmental regarding the sin of others. God hates your sin, too.
