Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “Heaven” based on Revelation 21:1-27:

  • Heaven is a real place.
  • Heaven is being prepared for those who have their names written in the Book of Life.
  • We only have a glimpse of Heaven as conveyed by Apostle J0hn.
  • Our understanding of Heaven is not complete.
  • Jesus is there.

Here are some “Sound Bites” from Sunday morning’s message “Savior” based on Luke 2:1-20:

  • The angels could hardly wait for the announcement of Christ’s birth so they could start praising God.
  • Jesus’ birth is the fulfillment of a long awaited promise.
  • Jesus is God’s “peace offering” to mankind.
  • You can “get in” on this, but you have to receive Jesus and believe that He really is God’s peace offering.

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “The First Nowell” based on Luke 2:8-20

  • God loves to exalt the lowly.
  • God loves to humble the proud.
  • God chose the lowliest of society to tell about the birth of Jesus FIRST.
  • God’s message of peace is valid today through Jesus Christ.
  • The story began at Christmas but doesn’t end until Easter.

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s sermon, “Straddling Fences” based on I Kings 18:17-39:

  • True followers of Jesus Christ can expect to be ridiculed, if not persecuted.
  • God can have no rivals.
  • Get off of the fence of indecision and commit to God.
  • God has proved that He IS God and is worthy of our worship.
  • When we hesitate between worshiping God and something else, we do not bring honor to either.
  • You can’t have it both ways;  either belong to the world or belong to God!

You can also listen to Sunday evening’s sermon, “Dealing with Discouragement”, based on I Kings 19:1-21 here or by clicking on the audio player below.

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s sermon, “Christmas Greetings” based on Luke 2:8-20:

  • God chose to announce the birth of Jesus to a bunch of lowly shepherds.
  • God used His heavenly host to proclaim this news to these shepherds.
  • No one thought too much of shepherds and they weren’t trusted.
  • God demonstrated that it isn’t status or station that He is interested in.
  • The shepherds went with reckless abandon to see the newborn Savior.
  • The shepherds honored God by glorifying Him.
  • We, like the shepherds must be faithful to share the Good News.
  • The Good News only started at the manger; it continued all the way through the empty tomb.
