Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “Hypocrisy vs Integrity” based on Acts 5:1-11:
Too many Christians put on masks before they “go to church” on Sundays.
Too many Christians aren’t transparent with their family and friends and try to put on a show
Hypocrisy is a visible cancer of the church.
Integrity is being as holy in private as you are in public.
Hypocrisy is not being as holy in private as you are in public.

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “Cleaning House” based on Matthew 21:12-16:
Upon arriving in Jerusalem, Jesus went straight to the temple.
He was horrified to find the temple full of people taking advantage of those who wanted to worship God.
He “messed everything up” as far as the vendors were concerned.
Jesus wasn’t interested in preserving the continued corruption of those making a profit from the temple.
Jesus desires to make your temple a proper place of worship, too.

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “A Matter of Faith” based on Matthew 8:5-13:
The church has dropped the ball in the faith department.
The church looks too much like the world to make an impact for God.
If we want to change the world, we must live by faith.
If we don’t have faith that God is in control, then we don’t have enough faith for salvation.

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “A Matter of Trust” based on Mark 12:41-44:
Tithing is an Old Testament concept
Tithing is not commanded in the New Testament
Tithing is a concept under the law
The New Testament model of giving is based on grace
The concept of tithing is abused and mis-guided in the church today
10% is a good place to start, but Jesus demands everything
If you can’t trust God with your finances, how can you trust Him with to save your soul?
If God isn’t Lord over your money, He probably isn’t Lord over your heart either.

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s sermon, “Straddling Fences” based on I Kings 18:17-39:
True followers of Jesus Christ can expect to be ridiculed, if not persecuted.
God can have no rivals.
Get off of the fence of indecision and commit to God.
God has proved that He IS God and is worthy of our worship.
When we hesitate between worshiping God and something else, we do not bring honor to either.
You can’t have it both ways; either belong to the world or belong to God!

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s sermon, “Christmas Lights” based on Matthew 2:1-2,10-12):
The Star of Bethlehem led the Magi to Jesus.
It allowed them to worship Jesus.
It allowed them to present their gifts, but leave with the wealth of the knowledge of the newborn king.
It allowed them to have wisdom from God, inasmuch as they obeyed His command in a dream.
Jesus told us that we are the light of the world.
Like the Christmas Star, we are to lead others to Jesus, so that they, too, might worship Him.

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s sermon, “Tear Down Your Idols!”, based on II Kings 18:1-7:
God gave the command to “not have, make, or worship idols”.
While most of us may not have any idols in our homes, sometimes we make things into idols.
An idol can be defined as “anything that distracts you from worshiping God”.
What about “cultural trinkets”? Do they count as idols?
You may not worship Buddha statues that you may have, but why have them in the first place?
Do you worship your kids? grandkids? money? spouse? sex? cars? etc?
Tear down those idols in your life and put God back in the place He deserves! In the CENTER of your life!
