Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message “More than Conquerors” based on Romans 8:31-39:

    • God saved us to be more than pew sitters and church attenders
    • Simply attending church doesn’t live up to God’s expectations for us
    • If we don’t have victory in our lives, it is most likely because of unrepentant or unconfessed sin
    • God is on our side

    • Be thankful for the right reasons
    • Be thankful at the right time

  • Sign Up for Church Directory Portraits

ISBC has contracted with Artisan Life Photography of Tulsa to provide us with pictorial directories!

There is a sign-up sheet in the foyer. The slots are only 10 minutes long. They ask that you sign up one slot for every two people in your family; for example, if there are five people in your family, you’d need to sign up for 3 ten minutes slots.

We’ll be taking pictures of Sunday School classes on November 27.  The photographers will be here for portraits on November 29 & 30.

The directories are free of charge and each family will receive a free 8×10 portrait. Other portraits will be available to purchase after the setting.

If you have any questions, please contact Kay Hornsey or Shelly Mathews.

  • Bits & Bytes

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “Part-time Christians” based on Matthew 23:23-28

    • Jesus condemns people who try to obey the smallest part of the law but ignore the import stuff.
    • Jesus says the important stuff is justice (fairness), mercy/compassion, and faithfulness.
    • We too often only “act” like Christians when it is convenient for us.
    • We need to realize we have been bought with a price.
