Here are some “sound bites” from last Sunday’s morning message, “Stop GOING to church (and start BEING the church) based on James 1:22-25:
- The church is the building.
- The church is the members.
- We are the body of Christ.
- When we meet, it isn’t “church” – it is the assembling of the church.
- We must have this mindset if we are to live as God would like us to live.

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s message, “Reaping What You Sow” based on Galatians 6:7-10:
- If you plant an orange tree, don’t expect to get apples.
- If you play around on your spouse, don’t be surprised when you have marital problems or a broken marriage.
- If you are bitter and mean to people, don’t be surprised when you end up alone and abandoned when you’re old.
- If you don’t spend time in your relationship with God, don’t be surprised when your prayers aren’t answered.

Here are some “sound bites” from Sunday morning’s sermon, “Christmas Lights” based on Matthew 2:1-2,10-12):
- The Star of Bethlehem led the Magi to Jesus.
- It allowed them to worship Jesus.
- It allowed them to present their gifts, but leave with the wealth of the knowledge of the newborn king.
- It allowed them to have wisdom from God, inasmuch as they obeyed His command in a dream.
- Jesus told us that we are the light of the world.
- Like the Christmas Star, we are to lead others to Jesus, so that they, too, might worship Him.
